yikes-Huge hole on 335 bumper, w/ pics

Just got a new 335 -- I was curious what these little squares were on my bumper. I pulled it and it popped off, and it won't go back. Sorry guys, i need help; this thing is a huge eye sore.

That is for the headlight washers if you have cold weather package. If you have the washers, you need to pull the nozzle out and attach the cover. Dont know how if you dont have them.

They come on every 3 times you use the headlight washers when your lights are on. Do you even have cold weather package?

lol. why... what would run through your mind saying: hmm let me rip off this bulge on my car that came with it! yeah!

lol!!! ok. from now on, just leave the car alone, and if u have any more questions, please call your sales associate. roflol! anyways, yeah ur dealer should be able to put it back on.

i strongly advise u dont tell them the actual story of what happened or else they will die laughing inside. say your cousins son or daughter or some little child came and did it. save yourself some embarrassment buddy. im only here to help

no seriously. dont tell them the real story, there was no sarcasm in that statement. trust me, if u plan on going to that dealership regularly for servicing, you dont want to be remembered as: that prick who ripped off his washers to see what was underneath.

that kind of rep will follow, and haunt you. not to mention they will probably treat you like an idiot and they will mock you like:

yes, your car has heated seats. you know what feature does right? (and your SA will die laughing inside).

anyways, just prepare to have to pay out of your pocket for labor, they will stick you with that. let me know how things go down tmrw.

cheers

What dealer would charge customer to put that back is just absurd to me unless he broke some sort of tab/clip that hold the piece on.

+1

You should say "I feel like an idiot, but I popped this piece off to see what was underneath. Now I can't get it back on."

They'll laugh, but put it back on for you. They won't remember you as "the prick who popped off his headlight washer" unless they are pricks themselves.

OTOH, if you try to come up with some phony story, they'll know it was phony and may (rightly) think less of you for it. They hear phony stories all the time, sort of like the proctologist on Seinfeld. Kramer: "You meet a proctologist at a party, don't walk away. Plant yourself there because you will hear the funniest stories you've ever heard. See, no one wants to admit to them that they stuck something up there. Never. It's always an accident. Every proctologist story ends in the same way: 'It was a million to one shot, doc, million to one!'"

reach your fingers in there, pull out the washer, and then reattach it - It'll take you 30 seconds.

You must have miss a minor detail, he has no cold weather package. Where is he going to find the washer behind there

If he had the washers, you'd see it in the picture. They pull in to just below the bumper when they're off.
