iOS7 (beta) and Bluetooth audio.
I'm running iSO7 beta on my iPhone 5. When I try to set it up for Bluetooth Audio, I get a message that I have an incompatible device.
Is this an issue with iOS7 and the software in the car? I assume if that is the case, there will be an update available at some point. Anyone else having issues with iOS7 and Bluetooth streaming? (2013 328i f30 with enhanced Bluetooth) |

Mine works (generally) as well. I have had 2 weird occurrences where the car thought I was making a call, but I wasn't & I have to turn off BT on the phone to make it stop. (this happened in my 2009 E90 335 as well with beta 1 of iOS7)
Beta 6 seems to be more stable, but I have one complaint (sorry for the thread jack): Siri no longer works via BT in the car! I used to be able to activate Siri (by pressing the button - while in my pocket), then say something like "read last txt" or "nearest mexican restaurant" & have her read the details to me without taking my eyes off the road. All I get via BT in the car now is "I'm sorry this service is not available at the moment..." when I disconnect the phone from the car's BT it works fine. Something tells me Apple is limiting Siri to cars without Siri for the car. That all being said, once iOS7 goes GM, I suggest building a clean version (no backups or restores) & try your car again. If it works (connects) you have 2 choices: 1) restore from your old backup & try again or 2) setup your phone (possibly loosing app saves) manually. One last idea: DL the latest update (UPD01006 - I think) from BMW for your car - follow the instructions & update your car. Then reconnect your iPhone. Just an idea.
