Euro clear front headlight retrofit for U.S. on ebay

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Good news everyone, Euro version headlight is available on ebay. Click here for the link This guy listed 3 different kinds of euro headlights. For those who has Xenon in U.S., we have to pay for a higher price due to the adaptive headlight (standard in U.S !?!?!) $1800 for a set. There are retrofit xenon kit available too! Anyone interested? Maybe we can setup a group buy and see if we can get some discount together, community power!!!! Although $1800 is a lot of money, its just too attractive to change the stupid orange reflector. I am wondering if we need to have dealer to install the headlights; if so, then i guess it will be a couple hundreds for installation for stealership. I hope its just a easy swap.

HFCrap! -- that is expensive.

I just paid $35 for my E46 clear corners.

Honestly, I know I'm in the minority, but I like the colored lenses. They look great in pictures because the really catch the flash, IMO. But $1800 to go to clear? That's pretty steep. I'd rather spend the money on just about anything else.

I thought someone said they can order from dealership for $600 each o nthe housing. Why would I want to pay $1800 on ebay when I already have adaptive headilght and can pay probably less than $1200 for just clear housing.

$600 for a housing for non-xenon, and that's not a pair, just one side. IT is much more expensive for xenon housing especially with adaptive headlights

I'm looking to get clear lenses for my car but I'm not about to pay that insane amount of money for it. Anyone know if it'ss possible to just swap headlights with the same configuration (i.e. xenon/non-xenon, adaptive/non-adaptive) with an European member? Is there any reason why you can't just swap like this? Seems like there are definitely people in europe who want the orange lenses.

Maybe those in Europe that want the orange can exchange with those in US that want the clear.

Way too much for a Euro xenon light.
