Smile Remus Exhaust for M3 coupe - R&D Finished

Remus Austria has recently finished the R&D on the new E92 M3.
It has not yet hit the market here I believe but just for the heck of it

Any pics of the exhaust off of the car? Is this with full headers?

Axle-back system, rear silencer, no specific muffler pictures yet, they're always slow on giving those out.

In terms of dyno, not sure, will have to confirm.

For those wondering, the mufflers will be painted black like our usual Sports line, only the tips will be shiny.

Dyno

Must be crank since stock max. is 416.9 PS compared to 420 rated. If it were wheel dyno figures it would be way under 400. Hard to believe they actually dynoed it out of the car, though.

Calcs to a 2.23% gain, which sounds pretty believable.

I was thinking the same thing. Did they really pull the motor and put in on an engine dyno? I think it's probably just their estimates based on RWHP.

Most likely. BTW, the website quotes $1200.

That's correct, it takes into account the 3% price increase in 2008 due to raw material price increase, it's also an Euro conversion.

My point exactly.

10hp for $1200. Yikes.

If it is just a straight Euro conversion, what will the real US pricing be?

Graph says E90, assume you mean E92?

And do you know if they tested it at the crank? Tested or estimated? I would like details.

Hi. Do you have a torque chart? Is the low rpm torque compromised in any way for top end power?

You can determine the torque graph by using Tq=(Hp x 5252)/RPM. It's a linear relationship.

I'm going to wait a bit before I even start to think about mods. Initially they are going to be super expensive, with very little testing relatively.

Plus I'd like to know since I have never been under any warranty, which mods will void it?
