Question HELP with 325i white bumper!

Help!! Has anyone had any damage to the front bumper and either had to repair, or replace it yet?! When pulling into a un-lit dark gravel parking lot, I pulled forward into a space, couldnt see a tree stump and put a big foot-long dent and scratches to the bumper right below the fog lamp! No damage to the light though! I'm considering replacing it all together since it's plastic that dents dont really come out of. Someone suggested looking on Ebay for a new bumper rather than buy it new thru the dealers body shop. If you have replaced one, how much for the part, painting and maintenence?

Front Bumper

If it were me, I would try and find one off of a damaged bimmer with a good bumper or find a better aftermarket. Like you said a plastic one is not repairable and look like nothing happened to it.

I have a dent at exactly same spot right now... it's not as big though, only around the size of a tennis ball. I hit either a snowbank or curb while I was turning around.

I went to an authorized bmw repair shop in Toronto and the estimate for repairing the bumper is around $620 CDN (I didn't need to replace the bumper). To replace the front bumper, the cost is around $1300.
