V2 - Cooling pump running with engine off

Does anyone else have this problem or heard of this?

A few days after installing the V2 an electric pump would run, as long as 30 minutes or more, after shutting off the enigne. Even under normal driving (not driving like i stole it). Has ran my battery down twice. Un-installed V2 and haven't heard the pump run nor has my battery been dead.

The running of the water pump is normal after the car shuts down. Are you running the PROcede/v2 harness off of switched power or the big 50amp fuse?

The pump runs after shutdown depending on the need to cool things down. Does not just happen with procede, happens on stock cars to.

All seems normal with the V2. Water pump does run but switches off after a while once its cooled down. But for sure, not 30 mins. I am on V2 switche power. No problems here.

My pump is still working after an hour or maybe more...I do not consider it as a problem though.

I have V2 installed, the pump in my car is working after shutting off the engine as well. I have the PROcede V2 power connected in a way that the PROcede V2 will be powered on when I open the car and powered off 20-30 minutes after shutting off the engine when the car goes to sleep mode.

shiv, recieved the harness to power the v2 to switched power. will try that. just feel like the water pump shouldn't run for that long. especially when i'm not running the car hard. that has to be a big drain on the battery.

?? An hour...seems long. Mine usually stops after about 10-15 minutes at most!

You must connect the V2 harness to the new switched power source ( orange wires in the ECU box ). If you connect it to permanent power, the cooling pump will run longer. I tested / verified this on my car.

Good job Eugen.

My pump runs ~30 mins and I'm on v1.47. I usually open the hood b/c my car is garaged and I don't have to worry about anything getting in there. When I open my hood it tends to cool ~10 minutes quicker.

However, it would be interesting WHY the pump is running longer with V2 connected to permanent power ...
