Incoming call alert volume

is there anyway to turn down the volume of the incoming call tone...or change the tone? I know its relative to the stereo volume but when i'm blasting the tunes and the RING comes through so darn loud...its sorta annoying. any thoughts?

Just turn the volume down when the ringing starts, or during the call, with the normal volume controls on the stereo/steering wheel.
This will only change the call volume & will not affect your stereo volume.
All future incoming calls should then be at the level you last set.

That's how it works using my Sony Ericsson T610.
If it doesn't work for you, perhaps you could try lowering the ringing volume on the mobile.
