There is a small screw on the knobs shaft. Slide the knob onto your shifter, set your height, tighten the screw and your good to go. At first I was skeptical with this setup, but the knob never moved once I set it in place..

That's a nice knob, any pics of it installed? do you know how much it weighs?

yea uuc makes nice knobs i have the rk7a real nice piece it weighs 20.... this one always reminded me of the b6 and b7 s4 knobs... bump for you

I believe this may be one of, if not the heaviest knobs made for the E90. It feels great though. When you shift the knob's weight actually takes over and does half the shifting for you! If I have time tonight I will weigh and take a pic of the knob on the shifter.
