EQ setting?

I know it depends on the person but can someone give me a eq setting that I can go by that will help me maximize my logic 7. Please use tick above/below factory setting. PS I like heavy metal/rock.

It may be something you need to experiment with yourself BUT the "V" or smile shape of the EQ bars seems to be a way many people set their EQ. I have something similar.

Your best bet is to try the dedicated audio threads. LOTS of info for you.

All the best.

If you leave it flat it will sound just like that...FLAT. Do like David says and use the V formation. It will give you the best results. Put bass at about 6 and treble at 7 or 8 max. You should be good to go.

Are there additional settings other than EQ that should be set to get the best sound?

FLAT...the "V" configuration is only going to give you more bass and treble...there is a whole mid-range you'll be missing out on.

I use the "V" and it works for me. I listen to lots of different styles of music.

I'm not sure if I should use the bass/ treble settings in addition to the EQ. Would that be redundant?

That's pretty good advise - I have set mine up this way and it sounds good. The other thing is that I found I had to set the fader so that the rear of the car gets a bit more than the front - probably because all of the bass is in the front part of the car.

When you wind the volume up it is just awesome - crystal clear and a very vibrant dynamic feel to the sound.
