Armor All wash kit

My wife purchased an armor all wash kit that comes with an assortment of items for washing your car... Wondering if the products are ok or if I should stay away from them.

I used to use a few armor all products but then I learned they leave and overly shiny interior finish and also leaves the surfaces slippery due to their oil based nature. Now I prefer water based products for interior which will leave a nice non slippery, matte finish. I would stay away from them.

Pretty much what I thought.

For sure. Think she's just tired of me spending $30 per car every week to get washed.

Great gift though... She did well with the brushes and clothes aspect!

After Armor All products turned my black trim and tires brown back in the early '90's, they are on my "I wouldn't use that if they paid me to use it" list. I'm sure they are better now, but I'll never know because there are so many other great products out there.

+1 for the wife… As PTek WILL said.. .Armor All kinda leaves this greasy/oily finish… I used to use Zymol… Though they're a bit outdated now… So now I use 100% CHEMICAL GUYS products. They're based in LA. Everything is Made in USA! And, if you need help, just call them up… they're normal guys… and they pretty much help you with any questions you may have… They also just did a ridiculous detail on my F10. I'll do a full write up on everything they used… I'll keep you posted once it's up www.chemicalguys.com I think is their website…

What all comes in the kit? I'm sure there are some items you can use. It was a nice thought of your wife to buy this for you, but you don't want to use anything that's bad for your car either...
