I'm gonna guess they are Bimmian - look like Bimmian - and no one would sell OEM M3 needles for $30

If they are Bimmian, their website has them listed for $25. I'm not sure how much you have to purchase for free shipping or if the free shipping code is public knowledge ?

I did this on my e46 (which they started out using an e46 or an e39 in that video it looks like) and I had to remove the steering wheel to be able to slide the cluster out. Is it the same with the e90?

I've had the cluster out of my E92 with no problems, & no removal of steering wheel - just tilted it down & telescoped all the way out (toward driver)

Nice! That is good to know. Thanks man. I'm going to try and track down some M3 needles. I never liked the stock gray ones.

Has anyone tried the sharpie mod on the e9x needles?

I've seen the sharpie mod in person & it looked like crap - might have just been the guy who did it though

Obviously not the best method of doing it, but I did it on my e46 and as long as you have a steady hand and can keep constant pressure, it looks fine. Not going that route in my IS, just curious if anyone has tried it on the e9x as I haven't heard of it done. Personally, I'm trying to source OE m3 needles.
