Corsa Exhaust Question
I'm looking to replace my exhaust system with a Corsa 3" system. Turner sells one but requires the buyer to sign a waiver since it may not be street legal in some states (they won't take it back). Corsa says install requires removal of a "dummy cat" only and "shouldn't effect emissions". Anyone have any experience with this system, Corsa part #14869? I don't want to get stuck with a $1700 part that I can't use. Thanks.

N55 and N54 sound very different, @evo335xi.
@ard5040, can't go wrong with the Corsa system. Their RSC is some of the best anti-drone tech in the business. Definitely consider the VRSF system though if you aren't gonna slam your suspension.

I have the axle back for n54 installed and its pretty good so far (14561). Doesn't drone but does require you to cut out your old exhaust. If you do decide to go this route, make sure you align the tips once the car is lowered from the lift. The angle of the tips makes it really difficult (in my case) to get them right. My tips aren't aligned properly and i had them welded, so i just left them. They sound really good on cold startup especially in a garage. Good luck.
Also, check around for better prices. you might get lucky. |
