e90 cooling issues

Hey gang,

So I replaced my water pump and thermostat after getting the yellow warning light since my 07 has 77k miles. However, I have had low coolant warnings days later topping off with 50/50 solution followed by the bleeding procedure.

So it appears the coolant is boiling out. Radiator fan appears to kick in around 105-108C. Could my new water pump be faulty or perhaps the radiator fan is faulty and turning on too late?

Any help appreciated.

You should be able to test the thermostat yourself- put it in a pan of water, heat up, watch it as it approaches about 175F (or whatever the stat spec is for your car- Im not 100% sure its 175), use a good glass alcohol/mercury thermometer, and it should open up at around 180-190 deg F. 105C sounds way to hot.
