Tyre insurance and RTI policy

Hi chaps

Going to pick up my auc F10M next week but need to get some boring stuff out of the way.

After numerous punctures on my M3, Ill probably fork out for tyre ins.
Can anyone give me some pointers on what I should be paying and whether the bmw one is worthwhile.

Same question with gap - return to invoice policy

Ive never taken out either product so any suggestion much appreciated in advance

I had the tyre insurance on my previous car from BMW and when I tried to claim once, it was rejected for some minor issue about how I made the claim. Can't remember details as 3 years ago, so just read the fine print on how to make a claim!

I took the GAP insurance for my 2014 M5 in January and pushed them to offer at cost, which was around the £800 mark. Be prepared to say no at £1000 and push them hard on the basis you are spending £80k on a car with them!

Just check the terms attached to the policy for term, cap limit, return to invoice or new, market value clause.

For a 3 year return to new (not invoice), with a cap of 80k claim limit, Frank Pickles charge £310.

Certainly the dealer policies are RTI not RTN and their caps tend to be ~20k.
