maybe a stupid suggestion but it could be the battery.
Mine has comfort access so the battery is replaceable and not charged when it's in the car, I read somewhere that without comfort access the car actually charges the key fob battery.

I think he meant the battery in the key fob , with comfort acess you can actually change the battery on your key fob but if you don't have comfort acess like me, then the battery in your key fob charges as the car is started( I think ) lol . So I think he meant the battery in your key fob

If you have comfort access (you can unlock/lock by touching the door handle), then look at the back of your fob. There should be a battery door. Pry it open with your finger nail (the plastic is soft; don't use any metal tools) and take the battery to Target and buy a replacement in the camera department.

You may have multiple issues. Where are you located in Jersey? I may be able to help if you need a car battery or troubleshooting. Sounds like your car battery may not have enough voltage. Do you have a volt meter? Check the voltage on the car battery.
