2007 335i with mods 4 sale!
Selling a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe, beautiful space grey exterior and all black leather interior. CLEAN CARFAX!!! Twin Turbo!! Upgraded SOUND SYSTEM!! LEATHER!! Sport Package!! SUNROOF!! This 2007 BMW 335i is just about FULLY LOADED, complete with a customized Package that offer a more sports car M feel and suspension calibration, as well as 4-way adjustable power lumbar support for the front seats, auto-dimming rear AND side view mirror, BMW Assist with Bluetooth, beautiful Black LEATHER, and superb up to date maintenance records. Additionally, car is modded with JB2 tuning chip that adds 50 extra horsepower and 54 lb of torque (check out burgertuning.com for more info; also know as an M3 killer 360 lb ft of torque is nothing to mess with...Perfect sleeper and DD. This amazing coupe is also equipped with Burger Tuning dual cone filters, and has been detailed every 4 months since 2011. Car also has a thermostat oil bypass mod to lower oil temperatures (burger tuning). Moreover, I also added H & R Coilover suspension and M3 REAR Bushings to enhance sport suspension and adjust ride height and has brand new Bilstein high performance shocks. This car out performs other stock E9X M3s and handles like a race car Car also has carbon fiber window moldings and kidney grilles. Standard features of the 335i include adaptive bi-xenon headlights with angel eyes, power front seats with driver memory, dual zone automatic climate control, 18" alloy wheels, cruise control, stainless steel trim, power tilt/slide SUNROOF, and awesome tints. Motivation comes from BMW's 3.0L twin turbocharged inline-6, making 355 horsepower with the tune from Burger and driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed MANUAL transmission. With just 80K on this one of a kind coupe, the new owner will get years of enjoyment out of this Bavarian Bahn stormer. Coilover suspension and M3 bushings and parts cost well over $3,000 so don't even think of low balling. I want someone who really loves E9Xs and understands the beauty of the 335i and will take care of this amazing car like I did. If it wasn't for the IRS and student loans, this car would not be for sale! $22,000 OBO (steal if you consider and understand the value of mods and the maintenance upkeep) Serious inquiries only and thanks for looking PM me for pictures, JPeg files are too big to upload from my phone. Thanks Last edited by Mpower4ever; 06-16-2014 at 10:59 PM.. |

Hate to be the bearer of bad new bro but my last 335 which was an 07, and others just like it or with even more mods than mine are going for 19-20k tops, and that's immaculate with fbo, wheels, jb4 etc etc. You're better off just keeping it if that's what you need out of it, as it's worth like 17.

I bought my 2008 E90 for $16k, which was a very good deal. KBB was $19k. Only mod was the PPK flash, but (KBB notwithstanding) most 2008's in the SF Bay Area w/or w/o mods are going for $18-20k; 2007's for $16-18k.

Selling a 2007 335i Coupe
I hear ya guys; just trying to see what the market really is, not in a rush to sell it; very patient and I'm going to throw more money into it as time goes on (I guess I'm addicted to upgrades lol) Selling a BMW is like selling a multi family home or stock; just have to wait until the market creates a demand then prices will eventually increase (remember the e30??). Especially when our cars will become more rare and newer BMWs with no manual transmissions are arriving to the forefront. Twin Turbo 6speed powerplants like the E9X is rare, and you can't find a super clean 6 speed manual Coupe like mine to save your life. Automatics are a different story

I can't send pics because this always happens:
"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error." Very annoying, so just send me an email and I will gladly send you pics |

The seller's car is a coupe which usually has a higher selling value than same year comparable sedan selling value. It's also in manual transmission, which is getting more difficult to find a manual transmission 335i in very good condition. I would recommend to the seller to try to part out the mods and sell those individually if you want to get the most money back from your mods. Good luck with your sale, OP.

It was an auto but, despite the popularity of the MT among younger drivers and speed freaks here, most BMW buyers really don't want to be bothered w/a stick. Despite the lower price, I bought the sedan because it was a year later, had lower miles and was in better shape than the coupe.

MT may not be popular among the U.S. crowd, but there is still demand. As time goes by there will be less and less MT 335i's remaining in the market.

The problem w/most sellers of modified cars (BMWs or otherwise) is an over-estimation of the value of their cars. The market is what it is and frankly IMHO there are no 2007 335i's of any body style (or condition) that should sell for what the OP is asking. All you have to do is check KBB or NADA for a fair market price for any car out there. When I was looking for my 2008 E90 that price was $19k. So, I made out ok on the price but I put another $7k into the car to "fix it up." Do I expect to get that $7k back by selling it for $23k now? No way. The "best" I could expect to get now would be $19k, which means I'd have to take a $4k "loss" (less any money I can recoup selling off any accessories that are marketable). That's just the way it is. So, all I (or anyone who puts a lot of money into their cars) can do is hold on to the car and enjoy the "benefits" of it as it's been "improved" and amortize the cost of those improvements over the years so that the money lost won't feel so painful as the car depreciates further over time.

I agree $21k is simply over-priced. I picked up my '07 e90 335i for $14.5k just over a month ago. It needs 2 new tires in a few thousand miles but is in flawless condition other than the rear tires.
The manual e92's are definitely a rarer and more valuable car, but not a whole $6,500 more IMO. Yes, the OP's car is modded but I could have my car FBO + Meth, wheels, and suspension for under $20k total cost and I've got slightly lower mileage. Even then I wouldn't expect to get 20 grand out of my 335i. With that being said, I was searching for a deal like the one I got almost daily for 4+ months so I'm sure I got the absolute best deal in my local area. Although the market for these n54's will pick back up eventually I don't think the next 2-3 years is the time. However, these could be relatively valuable cars in the future due to their immense tuning capabilities. If the OP is in no rush to sell its at least a reasonable starting price for negotiation. I think it also shows he likes the car and has taken great care of it throughout the years.
