Carbon Ceramic brakes Delayed till september

I just got this from my dealer. Why even offer it as an option at first if you can't get a car with them? I had to cancel me CCB

Checked on the status of your M4 today and noticed the production week had shifted into September build (yikes!)which was odd. After researching it this is what is found in a bulletin from BMW and it is because of the added option of carbon ceramic brakes. Please advise if you wish to keep this option on order or delete it. Thanks!


Restrictions (Limited Availability of Options)

As of this bulletin only 1 restricted option. There is no supply of 2NK (M Carbon Ceramic Brakes) for June M3 production and less than a handful of 2NK for M4 Cp in June..

I checked on mine today coincidentally. My M3 is still week 30 production.

He said as of yesterday pushed from week 30 to 34. That sucks!! He said he has had 8 people call today with m 3/4/5 orders and all with CCBs have been delayed.

I am thinking that a Brembo big break kit may be the way to go. I canceled my CCB.
