Best bang for the buck upgrade?
What do you guys think? I think it's the trailer hitch.
Used to be only 450 dollars and it upgrades your brakes too! |

Compared to aftermarket options, the hitch and the spare tire are bargains on the order sheet.

Yes, hitch is a heck of a deal. You get an oem integrated solution, bigger brakes.
After you get hitch, I actually don't think M brake is a good deal myself. It is mainly just painted calibers. Size of rotor is marginally bigger, which won't necessary improve braking performance. Visual impact is also small I do think $2750 for M sport is not a bad deal. sure mostly are for looks. But if you need to replicate similar affect after market, it will cost significantly more than $2750. And yes, $250 space saver spare on for 40i and 60i is also heck of deal

1. Alcântara headliner for $650 2. Leather dash for $650 3. If you have M50i, upgrading to Merino was only $1,000 to get to top grain leather (although, I found out later that most of the seat was still Vernasca in the front. But still an amazing deal. Basically for $2,500 you went from a general luxury to a high luxury level. On and on….there is no way you are getting any of this that cheap. |

I regretted not getting the tow hitch. Because, I thought I could get aftermarket and keep the kick open sensors. Then, I realized how much work is involved to install the hitch, removing all the parts and body panels...
I only needed the hitch once in a blue to put a bike carrier. Still, it totally adds to the versatility of the vehicle with not too much $$. |

Tow hitch would be a no brainer for me, along with the spare tire. |

I don't know what the stereo upgrade is this year or whether it is available to you, but that is indispensable to me. Literally would not have bought the car otherwise.
