I thought there would be a thread on this.
We just finished watching "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". I think that may be one of the all time great shows.
We also watched "Scandalous" on FOX. It was ok.
I also greatly enjoy "Star Trek: Discovery".

Network: The Brave and Life in Pieces
"Cable": Baskets (nothing else on right now, but also like Fargo and The Americans)
HBO / SHO: nothing great in season right now
Netflix: Haven't had a chance to watch season 2 of Disjointed but probably will watch it. Waiting for season 2 of Ozark.

Most shows that I think start off ok, I end up losing interest in except some on "Cable" stations and HBO / SHO.

Same but i dont like how they deviate from the main story/plot that was built up in the first for episodes. Like what the hell did the last episode contribute ? still love the series tho

REALLY? There must be an info-mercial on one of the other channels. I just can not appreciate. . .

Gold Rush, Lucifer, Vikings. No paid channels.

I hear we have Netflix in the house somewhere, so interested in Altered Carbon, but haven't seen yet.

Blue Planet we have several new recording on DVR.

Long Road Home mini series on Nat Geo is excellent and based on true story. Definitely worth the watch.

Lets see... I finished Stranger Things (Netflix) a few weeks ago. Liked it mainly b/c it was based in the 80s. Started watching The Deuce (HBO) and Silicon Valley (HBO). The Deuce has a dark humor to it that I like. Reminds me somewhat of Fargo (FX), which I consider one of the best TV series in recent years. Silicon Valley is pretty funny although I don't care for it at times. Just started the first season and heard it gets better so I'll continue watching it every now and then when I'm really bored.

Luther, Peaky Blinders, and Narco...all on Netflix

Took a quick glance, I think I'll give it a try. :cool!:

vikings got boring to me after Ragnar died. It almost became Jerry Springer-ish with all of the bastard sons and cripples bickering and Floki having a tantrum floating away, etc etc...

too much like a soap opera

OMG. My parents who are in their 80's love that show. Unwatchable for me. The dialog and acting are terrible. As is most free TV shows. Yes, I'm a cable snob.
