Hell should surely have a special place for those types. Hoping they let the other inmates know what that person is in jail for. I wish the government spent even 10% as much as they spend on drugs/immigrants to track down this type of animal cruelty. Good luck finding a new one to foster; hadn't heard of the in-state restriction.

Marty after surgery to have a cyst removed. He’s never worn “clothes” before but he acts like he’s always worn them, not bothered one bit. He’s not happy about not being able to play though, he’s a sporty guy, especially for a Cav, I feel like a monster for not throwing his ball or playing tug of war

My (grown but immature )) kids drew a frowny face over where his sutures are so everybody remembers where not to touch him

Sadly - our girl's battle with cancer has come to an end. Exactly one year to the day after being diagnosed.

She ended up getting a secondary disease that placed a fluid around her lungs making it hard for her to breath. It was quick and pretty much took her out in two days. Her last vet cancer checkup on Dec 19th showed zero signs of this and was discussed on how remarkable she was doing.

Almost all of these pics below were in the last year...something we were glad to have. The picture of the three of them on the walk was less than a week ago.
So sorry!
The cancer took one of my best cats. I never thought a cat could get cancer... He was with me for 9 years, he was my calming influence when I came home stressed...

I just hope to meet him again someday, even if it's in another life...

Who walks their dog in the morning??? Man, I would be pretty bitter.

Right from when they were a pup I had them understand that I open the back door, they go out, do their business and come back to the door. Took a couple weeks as puppies where it was a little inconvenient standing out there (but it wasn't in winter either), but each of them picked it up real fast. I don't even open the door anymore to have the blast of cold hit me - I have the kids do that now lol.

Nobody is out with their dog at 6am - that's a cat person's warped view of reality to justify why they have an animal that hates them lol :D

(I know, some cats are affectionate)

No matter what the time of day it is, if the weather is cold as shit...I hate taking the dog out to go to the bathroom. Sucks so bad.

So - whole process in obtaining a rescue shepherd out of state, tad more of a process that I'm up for.

With this, pictured below is Avery. She's a 6 week old shepherd with some really tall blood lines (her dad is 130lbs). We gave a visit to her last weekend - and will be picking her up on the 21st. Posting a pic of dad to give an idea...he's a full therapy dog.

Assuming the older bros in the family will keep her in line....until she controls them.

Excited to start training again!

Brought Avery home this weekend...really could not have asked for a better start with her big brother. Middle child, (which is now the oldest) and the little one have really bonded. Eventually, I'll have pictures of the 3 together...

Now the cat on the other hand...that's not going so well. Guess it's a work in progress.

Gave my dog a bath (he hated it as usual), so I told him a funny joke to make up for it later. He thought it was hilarious.

During the week we're out walking the dogs by 5-5:30 am (40 min walk). We have 2 siberian huskies who would not stand for being let out in the yard. They also get walked again at 5 pm.

Cute pups, and I guess I should caveat what I said when it comes to a working breed. If you get a working breed they are going to need stimulation and to get that energy out or they're likely to become destructive in an effort to stimulate themselves.
