G05 Technical Training documents
Enjoy.
Bloody fantastic!!!

I notice "Edited for the US market". Any chance you know where the "original" unedited docs are and if there might be an English version? Looking for Australia info (and that is probably very closely aligned to the UK and perhaps other O/S markets.).

Again, FANTASTIC!

Sorry, my source has only the U.S. documents. But I know there are relatively simple ways to get access to the same stuff in the EU, someone should just try and do that.

I couldn't see anything about the M Sport exhaust...?

Great stuff, thanks for uploading.

Did I miss the ordering configuration option for the BMW trailer and motorcyle? ;) Can't add more than a couple hundred $$ to the X5, right?

Cool on the CD player in glovebox. But unfortunately it doesn't play SACD, DVD-A, or Blu Ray audio. Wonder what the highest bit rate is that it can play for audio files.

And this phrase stood out to me from the Body file:

"To increase passenger comfort, BMW has added wrinkles to rear seat leather."

This doesn't make sense because the doc says 17/18/19" discs so is it wrong?

Have you ever seen a 19" rotor? That has to be the minimum wheel size.

An HP4 should be more like a thousand bucks I think, once you wait for the next poor idiot to crash it. Though you'll probably have to add a little more for washing the blood and brain matter off the bike.

I assumed they'd been published by now, but if not I'll take care of it.
I remember some asking about it on the G01 board, but no one ever posted it. It would be greatly appreciated.

this is great information and much better than anything I can get from the dealership. I am still thinking of getting them painted since swapping out the calipers for Msport and it sounds like the rotor size is different it just doesn’t add enough value to the car to justify. Sort of looks good and maybe the blue would get old with the carbon black. It is not an M car just an M sport so that is why initially I said okay.

Now I have to get to the data sheet on the tow package to see if I have to get a new rear plate to imbed the tow hatch and electrical. BMW is apparently a long way off from making that available. I just don’t want something to look ad how and have it look either hidden or at least not an after thought. The dealership couldn’t tell me anything and whether the fascia part was replaceable.
