I'll wait for the disk to come out. Anyone else like me where I use to go watch movies in theaters religiously but with Home Theater Audio nowadays it just sounds much better at home than watching it at the theater that I actually have the patience to wait for the 4k disk to be released?

Looking forward to:

Aquaman
End Game
Bumblebee
Joker

The usual suspects....Only recently saw The Ritual. Was an ok scary movie. Wasnt too scary.

Would be interesting to hear from someone with a good recommendation on a scary movie that’s actually scary.

Cough....Incident in a Ghostland.

Also see:
High Tension (aka Haute Tension)
Don't Breathe
It Comes at Night
Hereditary
It Lingers
A Quiet Place
As Above So Below

You can also search for Ben Affleck movies on IMDB and the results should terrify you.

A Quiet Place was very good! I'd give it a 7.

I have to say I was impressed by ol' Jim Halpert in that one.

Hmm, I’ll check out Ghostland. It Comes at Night also seemed interesting.

I thought A Quiet Place was a decent movie, but I didn’t really find it scary. Honestly, there were more points in the movie where I was laughing rather than being scared. Maybe it’s because I kept thinking to myself that I’d end up dying if I was there because of an accidental fart.

I believe he directed that film, was the star, and he gets to go home to Emily Blunt every night. I'd buy that for a dollar

that was a good movie but the whole time I kept thinking of Jim's character from The Office the whole time

I kept thinking the same thing! :bellyroll If I had one on deck and was in a tense situation, the first fast movement or sight of one of things it would have been over for me.

You are correct and I'd buy that with a bunch of dollars.

Same here, I kept waiting for the awkward glare into the camera.

Interesting looks like this movie failed at the box office

An oldie but a goody tonight:

Watched Bird Box last night. The beginning pulled me in but by the end I wasn't a huge fan:confused2

Equalizer 2. Wasn't bad and worth a watch if you liked the first one.
12-28-2018
I thought Aquaman was decent. :confused2

There's nothing else to do on Christmas day.

We went opening night. I was disappointed that what I THOUGHT were peanut M&Ms turned out to be peanut butter. The sour patch kids were good though.

Oh, and then there was a movie, and some fight scenes, and some underwater stuff that was kinda cool.

I could only watch because at the in-laws apparently 15 on the dial is max. The only thing I know for sure is that I can't take the blindfold off, EVER

Watching bird box now. Semi annoying.

Unless it’s something I want to see on imax, I wait now. I mean with 4K UHD and Atmos, I get to hear and see the movie pretty close to intended without someone I don’t know talking, texting, or chewing in my ear. If they do make noise, I can pause or backup if I miss something. Plus I always have the best seat in the house.

As soon as the theaters realize direct to DVD, iTunes/Vudu is where it’s at, they will probably start to figure out how to make money again. Unless they can figure out how to make going to the movies special or unique again. Doubtful. It’s kind of like Sears getting run over by Amazon. By the time they figure out they need to change their business model, they are out of business.

Same here. I was really interested but than I lost interest half way through the movie

Thoughts on Meg? I found it entertaining

During the vacation I watched:

Peppermint - enjoyed it
Bird Box - the first 45 minutes sucked me in, lost interest quickly. Called the ending.
Bright - Meh, it was something to watch. If fairies, orcs, elves, magic wands and Will Smith aren't your thing, I'd pass.

In cue but wasn't in the right mind set to watch:
They Will Not Grow Old
The First Man

First Man was great.
