I am thinking in 15 front and 12.5 rear, what do y think? Y have these sizes? Mine came. With the 22".
As Ben said...you need the bigger one in the rear, not in the front.

However, as my post above says...15mm isn't aggressive at all for the front. if there was a 17-18mm I would do that, especially if you do a 20mm rear.

So, 13 F and 15 R?
My setup was 12 front and 15 rear.
It is 1mm difference and 13mm hasn't been popular. So, H&R rarely have it in stock.
17,5 Front and 20 back? You are sure that the 17,5 on the front will not be out?

I just installed, 15 front and 17,5 hear, to me, is on the limit.

I have a 45e with 22" 742M black wheels on order and seeing these pictures here I'm now convinced I want spacers :D
I think 12/15 would be fine for me. 15/20 is a bit too aggressive.

12/15mm is per spacer meaning 24/30 per axle?

Yes, correct. 24/30 per axle.

15/20 is a bit aggressive if you are not lowered. :)

Congrats on your 45e.

Hi Ben,

I have a '19 G05 (40i) with 21" stock OEM 741M wheels.
21x9.5, 275/40 R21 front and 21x10.0, 315/35 R21 rear. Tire specs are correct, but not 100% sure of rim width at the rear (may be 10.5 instead of 10 as stated in the ordering guide, but not fully sure).

I want to go for a seat of spacers that keeps the front flush with the front flares, but I like the rear to stick out a bit more aggressively. I really love the look of the F15s with the rear 20" tires (315/35/R20) sticking out quite a bit !

Most of the pics in this thread seems to be on 22" 742M wheels, which seem to have the same front rim width (9.5"), but has a 0.5" (12.7mm) wider rear rim width. So to get the same end effect on my 21" rims, I am thinking if I need to go wider than 20mm spacer on the rear? Would a 25mm or even a 30mm spacer at the spacer be OK or too ridiculous (!!) or cause any issues ? [I don't expect any since rolling diameter is unchanged and also I don't have IAS/rear steering)] Neither the 25mm nor the 30mm are in stock at your website, so can you please advise on lead-times?

Also is the recommended installation any different for the 30mm option than the 20mm ? I read something on this, but forgot to save the link.

anyway, would like a quote please for two options both with extended lugs:
Option 1:
12mm Front, 20mm Rear

Option 2:
12mm Front, 30mm (!) Rear; aka the crazy option.
Here, I am trying to account for the 12.7mm rim width delta as explained above!

I have PPF on the side skirts and rear bumper, rear wheel arches, so I am comfortable with the rear sticking out more, but not fully comfortable with the front sticking out too much and kicking up chips on the lower part of the side doors just above the side skirts. hence the choice to go with 12mm front rather than 15mm.

Thoughts?

Based on my knowledge by looking at the BMW Parts Catalog, both 21" and 22" have the same wheel width and tire width, just different in diameter and tire thickness.

With that saying, the setup will be the same.

Conservative - 12/15
A little aggressive or perfect with 1" drop - 15/20

Based on what you want, it seems like you want to go with 12/20.

I wouldn't go with 25 or 30, that will stick out like a hot rod. :)

I'll PM you the prices, since forum rules doesn't allow vendors to post prices.
09-14-2019
Thanks Ben. The ordering guides still show this 12.7mm delta, that’s why I was wondering about the Hot Rod option :)

Anyway, yes will reply to your PM. Will likely proceed with the 12/20 option.

Thanks.

I hope some of my customers with 21" can post some pictures.

Spacer wise, they are the same as 22".
The 21" and 22" are the same width and offset, just different diameter.

I hope that help. :)

Gimix.... I think they look great. I don't think they are too aggressive at all.

I bought the same 15/20mm setup...... now if I could actually get my frickin CAR I'd be in good shape.

I'll be on 21s, not 22s.... but I'll also be on air suspension, so I'm looking forward to seeing the "stance" in sport mode.

Great quality product indeed.

What are your thoughts on spacers for a 20” (740m) square wheel set?

All 4 wheels are 20x9

Thank you in advance
