Will the X5 (G05) M Competition 809M style wheels fit on a X5 4.0i? I have the 742M wheels currently.

The 809M wheels are 21x10.5 +31 in the front and 22x11.5 +37, which means that compared to the 742M wheels, the fronts and rears will have 7mm less inner clearance, while protruding 19mm. This will work just fine.

Thank you for the information. So I should have no problem installing them on my X5? Thanks again, Chris

Yes you should be fine, as long as you're ok with a more aggressive look. Keep in mind that the fronts are 21" and the rears are 22" in diameter.

The G05 and F95 share the same platform, chassis, and the majority of suspension components. They also share the same body and fenders. Those wheels will absolutely fit., Like mentioned above though, the fronts are 21s, and the rears 22.... which is weird... lol

The only thing I'm not 100% sure about.... are the lugs. They are the same thread pattern, but the seats on the G05 are quite large. I'm not sure what the lug seats look like on an F95. If they are smaller, you may want to pick up an OEM set of lugs from an X5M at your local BMW dealer. I imagine someone can post a pic of X5M lugbolts though. If they look the same as your original ones.... you're good.

I have 809M's on my 2021 X5M competition. They look great.

I would confirm the hub sizes. Typically in the past the X5M and the X6M have had different hub sizes for the front and the rear. They would not fit the regular X's.

Whats the benefit of the 21"/22" setup? I had looked into the 818m for my G05 but got turned off by the different sizes.

I think its a way of getting wider tires in the front and still be able to have close to stock rolling diameter. 1% difference compared to the rear wheel. You also have more rubber and maybe better grip in cornering.

Would they fit in combination with air suspension?

Anybody got the part numbers for a full set?

I'm looking for information as well. Will I encounter issue with lugs and hub sizes? Anyone done this on their G05 that can confirm?

Bump for more info/confirmation on this.

Looking at a used set of these for a summer wheel/tire set up for my wife's X5 40i.

Yep mine 809m fit perfectly. Been driving these wheels for a year now. 10.5J in the front, 11.5J in the back. I had to put 10mm spacers in the back to get the best fitment I want.

Old thread but was doing some research and the rear 11.5" wheel has an ET:43 and not 37. Not looking to be a corrector just wanted to make sure correct info was out there.

Those look great! Are they replica wheels are factory originals? Would they have fit ok without the 10mm spacers?

Did you ever install these wheels?
