This Xpel Stealth wrap looks interesting with its self-healing properties. Curious to see how it ages...
But running hot water to cure minor scratches from washing/drying is crazy.
Let’s see...

bobbis1 wrotehi. not certain exactly what you mean, but I'm guessing the vents behind the front wheel fenders? If so, those aren't really vents, and they're actually OEM with M Sport trim (not a aftermarket mod)who makes your side "intake" covers?
nZtiZia wroteI actually prefer those over our M badged fake vents (not that they're anymore functional than ours). Why advertise what you got? It's what's under the hood that counts. Full debadge here for the record (except for those vents)hi. not certain exactly what you mean, but I'm guessing the vents behind the front wheel fenders? MrItaly wroteYes, agree ... i don't like the X5M "busy" side-vent, much prefer my wife's X5 40i more simple design. i would like to see the X5 simpler design in carbon fibre as a replacement for the X5M busy version, which also includes the "M" logo (personally not being a fan of logos and badges on cars other than the BMW roundel itself front & rear)I actually prefer those over our M badged fake vents (not that they're anymore functional than ours). SnowWhiteX21 wrotesurprisingly (well, not really as she's driven bimmers for 13 years), my wife noted that, too! the body lines get lost in the reflections. My X6 M50 with its new wrap definitely shows more body lines
what was your original paint color? your wrap is 🔥

Def worth the $
... but then again, I do like my glossy Marina Bay Blue paint
... or do I ... that stealth MBB is sooo nice .... aaaarghh, can't decide

I originally wanted the frozen MBB but at the time of ordering the car, the option didn't exist so I made my version of it. Also I drive a lot daily and don't have much time to keep the car clean how I would want to so figured the frozen look would help the car look same whether it's washed or not. I think I achieved exactly what I wanted for myself. I do love the original metallic finish on our MBB beast and figured a year or 2 into having the stealth PPF, I can always take it off and have a fresh metallic look afterwards.
All in all, it's personal preference and IMO both Stealth or Ultimate look superb!

nZtiZia wroteThanks! Car is originally Mineral White Metallic. I wrapped it in a satin wrap. Love the look of this wrap on the X6. Looks like a beast! I also did RG spacers 12/15. Don't know if I should lower it or not but def thinking about it.SnowWhiteX21 wrotesurprisingly (well, not really as she's driven bimmers for 13 years), my wife noted that, too! the body lines get lost in the reflections. My X6 M50 with its new wrap definitely shows more body lines

updated pics to come once MSS is in place.

hybrid_eg wroteWow, sexy AF! What happened to your rear lip spoiler? The best part, it had not been washed in three weeks :-) I love stealth!

Can't wait for you to share pics with the MSS' on!
hybrid_eg wrotewill you use the betalink when you install the M performance spoiler? my installer just installed using the factory double sided tape on my G05 M performance spoiler on top of ppf. I'm a little worried it won't hold over time. (I just got it back from them a week ago.) what do you think?that way i can remove it easily once Mperf version is out..
