Tomorrow's forecast is for 70 F and thunderstorms as a cold front passes, and low 60's F highs for the rest of the week.....
Currently 62. Will be heating up. Forecasted to be in the 90s by the weekend.
Late April was super warm — like one of the hottest on record in a lot of spots. Central and southern Virginia saw tons of 70s and even some 80s, with places like Danville hitting their 3rd warmest April ever and others breaking records early in the month. Tons of days above 70°F. 
Then May rolled in cooler. We’ve been dealing with highs mostly in the 60s (sometimes lower in the mountains), which feels pretty chilly compared to normal early May temps that are usually climbing into the mid-70s. A bit of a shock after that April heat wave.
