Galaga and Defender in the arcade for sure (great filler when there wasn't anyone to play foosball - goalie was my position)

Carzy Taxi at home on the xbox, wheel, pedal set-up and played many hours with my daughter. Until she was old enough to have her own BMW ('95 325is)

I'd just like to take a minute and point out how well game developers made things look back in the day with just square colored dots.

Not so much a video game but spent countless hours on the Addams Family pinball machine in the 90’s with my mates. I can still hear the game play dialogue in my head.

The thrill of racing against friends on the Nintendo 64, those were the days! It's incredible how those timeless games can bring back so many great moments.

Should have kept all my consoles. I just picked up an original NES console in box. Still looking for the right deal on a SNES, Game Boy & Sega Game Gear.

Now hunting for all the NES games I had

As a kid, I grew up right next to Stanford University. Spent my childhood on my bike on campus. Went to all the football games for years, most of the basketball games. It was my playground.

One of the first - if not THE first - video games that was later developed into a video game was located in the coffee house at Tresidder Union. It was called The Galaxy Game. The whole story here..

We played that thing a ton. Not that many people knew it was there so there was rarely a wait. Later, the original Pong machine - I mean THE original hand-built machine that later became an arcade and home classic - was also in that coffee house and we got to play it a ton too.

Pinball - Any and all
Galaga
Joust
1942
Defender
q-bert
Missile Command
Centipede
Asteroids
Battlezone
Robotron 2084

It did not help that there was an arcade in the strip mall next to where I worked when I was 15, natural place to kill time before or after work.

I worked in a video arcade in my teens so I got to play a lot of those games a lot for free. Galaga was my go to but loved many of the games including pinball. There are a few retro pinball & arcade places in the area and I go every now and then. I have a scaled down Ms Pac Man in the house that also has a few other games on it. If I had my way, I'd have number of full size arcade and pinball machines.

My first ever game was Tetris on the Gameboy that I got as a Christmas present. End up upgrading and buying the magnifying glass and light because of the random electricity outages
