the funny this is, RR has even more of these OCD issues because the interiors are hand built so sometimes, say, the stitchwork widths vary and it's noticeable ...

I'd hate to be the Rolls delivery guy who has to deliver to the OCD guy :confused0068:

These types of things used to be valued as a sign of craftsmanship; now if it's not perfectly machine generic people complain :confused2

My 2021 has 15k on it and no issues to report. Changing out tires now at 15k.

You will get like 8k, get over it lol
I wish. My fronts last that long but the rears Maybe 5k. I work from home so anytime I drive it, I am driving it fast. Not many highway miles so plenty of accelerating. It's exciting everything I get in it.

I am still on original front tires at 14k, probably will change fronts together with second rear
tires at around 18-19k.

Bump.

Lets hear how all the f95’s are progressing. :party0030:

Just had my M sport diff replaced under CPO. Batteries replaced at 3.5 years. No other major mechanical stuff - few small trim issues.

30k miles, daily driver, no issues at all. No oil consumption but I change the oil every 5k miles.

New M sport diff for me - input pinion failure. Not a common issue so I'm not sure my one data point is significant. Also had an AC vent break that required replacement of the climate controls (it was all one unit). Also the rear armrest broke and was fixed under warranty. I'd imaging these items would be well over $10k without warranty.

Front or rear differential? How many miles? Did you do any fluid changes prior?

I have a ‘22 with 29,000 on the clock. I bought it 9ish months ago with 17k. Other than oil changes(I am doing 5k intervals now after reading the forums) I only need tires(got 12,000 miles on the pirellis), and I am replacing the brake pads for dust and noise reasons. It’s been my favorite vehicle I have had in over a decade.

Disclaimer, I do have some spring bind from lowering it (will be looking into that while the wheels are getting powder coated next week), had the dash replaced under warranty, OTA updates suck, and I bought it with a “minor” accident noted on carfax which was a costly mistake…

Sorry to jump in here with an oil change question but I have about 3800 miles on the car right now and app says next oil change service is about 8500. That's way off right?

The BMW specialist shop that just did my tires said he would do an earlier oil change for me since he knows the dealer won't take it earlier than what is "scheduled". Is this in line with what others know?

My dealer is happy to change the oil every 5k - on my dime, of course. My service advisor thinks it's prudent given the history of BMW V8s and their potential issues.

Bought mine CPO with 39k. They put a new set of Pirelli PZ4 had an oil change done and seems like they did a pad slap(will get to this later)

45k: Did an oil change and got sunroof seal replaced under warranty.

47k: Replaced PZ4s with Michelin AS4 since I live in north east. Got a state inspection done by third party shop and they told me the rotors were below spec, from what I read online dealer wont replace under maint plan unless the light comes on in the dash which is annoying.

50k: I’m at the mileage currently and just scheduled for oil change, front and rear diff and transmission flush. Transfer case is covered under my maint plan but again not by mileage but when the computer shows the need for it.

The service manager said BMW states transmission fluid is “lifetime” but BMW will recommend flush at 100k. From his personal experience he recommends every 75k.

And for front diff again BMW says “lifetime” but he recommends every 120k.

I always wait till oil temp is close to the 210F mark to drive more spiritedly and on colder days wait even longer just in case. My commute is 1.5h each way so the majority of the mileage is at 45-95mph.

i currently have 54400km/34000mi on my 22 X6MC. it is a daily driver for me and to date i have had a battery replaced, a corroded back up sensor wire and sunroof seal replaced (road noise issue). I have found that this car uses tires even though i drive it conservatively. i have been impressed with the mileage that i am able to get, the best highway has been 24.5mpg (US) 29.5mpg (UK) which is impressive for a high performance heavy car like this. I love it so much i got an extended warranty and maintenance package. :party0030:

Close to 110k km and everything is fine except M rear diff has some whine but this started around 40-50k km I just ignored it at that time so I am still driving with it as its not big yet I suppose I change it next year if I keep car more.

When car was in warranty they changed steering column as it had some rattle like being suspension but actually was steering rack so it has been changed under warranty and with it also both front headlights as they were getting foggy after car wash etc.

When they changed sterring column we changed also other suspension things such as lower arm etc but it was just because we are changing steering rack not that was damaged but I insisted to install everything new there except shock absorbers etc.

Engine is strong or at least I had luck as I drive it from 15k km without downpipes primary/secondary and I use racechip and later at around 85k km I did the transmission xhp stage 3 flash.

I drove it every day pushing hard I forgot when I drive it with easy foot - I change oil every 10-15k km and I am very gentle always until it reaches 100C Oil temp.

Let me know if there is someone else with higher mileage.

For those who purchased their cars how reliable has this car been? How expensive have your repairs been, if any ? How many miles on your car?
I wish it were better, but 3 months old X6M Comp LCI full individual and car won't start anymore because of "Emergency Call System Failure".

2023 x6m competition with 41k miles. Oil-change every 5k miles and spark plug every 30k. So far only a battery failed.

2020 X5M, 33K miles, 3 years of ownership (purchased CPO with 15K miles). No issues.

Oil changes every 5K miles, preemptive rear diff service, preemptive battery change after 3 years.

Looking to drive it until the wheels come off :)
