JMcLellan wroteHere's an E34 M5 for sale in my region: https://enthusiastauto.com/bmw/m5series/e34-m5/1993-bmw-m5-20-jahre-homage-2600.html.What year or gen is that M5? I need that car.
I had an S38 in an M635CSi and another one that had been stuffed into the engine bay of a 325is track/street car. The S38 is quite an engine!

F87M2. wroteGorgeous car but I'm biased. Bought one in 93 in Lagoon Green, kept it for 10 years. I still regret selling it:cry:beauty
I don't miss cleaning the wheels though!!

Lady Jane wroteLove the 60's and early 70's Marcos'1965 Marcos.
Surprising small cars in real life.
Wooden marine plywood monocoque with steel subframes for engine and rear suspension, up until late 60's.
From then on they got a full tubular chassis.

I acquired the car pictured below as a basket case from a Kelowna British car dealer in early 2000's.
The previous owner, a Dr Knee owned many odd and rare cars from the 60's.
Upon his death his wife sold off many of the cars.
Dr Knee raced the 1969 Marcos, (licensed as a 1967, to get around some obscure rule relating to covered headlights or something along those lines) in the RMVR in the 80's in the big bore group.
The picture may be from LaJunta, someone may know more.
I restored and rebuilt it over the next 4-5 years, eventually selling it to a racer in the US who still races in the VARAC series.
The car was rumoured to be one of 2 prototypes that the factory built with a Rover/Buick 3.5 litre all Alloy V8.
The car retained the V8 and 4 speed under my ownership.
I had the engine rebuilt with performance parts, including 4 dual downdraft Weber's and headers.
Unfortunately I only have physical photos of the rebuild process.
Plans are to make them digital, for sharing.
