Body kit purchased from a Chinese seller... but to avoid he's a liar, parts were missing during delivery, and he promised me delivery several times and ultimately nothing!
I had to buy original parts from BMW to complete the kit!

I need your help, I think I've followed all your steps but I still don't get a parking brake fault. Can you think of what it could be?
For now I have solved it by returning the cable to its original state, do you have a diagram to check if the cable is correct?

No, the OEM exterior parts from X5M are not compatible for non M
the fenders are wider, and the underside is different
It's a special Chinese body kit for non-M models (bumper)
1. We don't all have the means to pay for //M model ... high initial price + high daily fuel consumption and very expensive insurance !
2. I'm Living near Paris (do you know ? a small town located in France/ Europe !), where SUV are very poorly regarded.
I drive 60km/day in 5/7 days in full electric in town ... no noise, no pollution, the thermal engine is useful on the highway or on weekends.
A hybrid model is the best compromise for my use.
These are only mainly aesthetic modifications to have a nice look, I did most of the modifications myself. ... and I am very, very far from arriving at the price of an //M model !!

That’s because I just purchased my wife a 2023 45e. Now we absolutely love the car but I can’t stand the (running board/ rocker panels) that being said I start searching and ended up here where I see you fine gentleman have already swapped these things.
(Now I have not read this thread entirely yet)
Is there any tips and tricks or links of where to purchase the kit. Or do I just find it on alibaba?
For the F95 bumper, wheel arches aside, does the OEM F96 bolt onto the G05.
Does the exhaust line up. I believe they should for the most part if I'm referencing 914's epic thread.
Yes you can change the rocker panel with the XLine model (like mine originally in raw plastic and aluminum).
Otherwise by model //M but you also have to change the wheel arch and paint all the parts !

!! Be careful, contrary to what the seller says, it's not really Plug&Play, ok yes the gril uses the same fixing points, but to pass the wiring you have to play with the Dremel !
Bypass wiring provided for connection to the headlight harness.
Remember to insulate the cables with thermo and plastic/canvas tape to avoid cuts and parasitic noise...

I have ordered the same kit, but the quality is really poor. Its made of cheap plastic and the rear bumper doesnt fit.

nicodep wroteHey Nico,hi, for monkit the plastic is of good quality, now for 2 years, nothing has changed and the paint is still impeccable. for the adjustments on the chassis it is indeed necessary to work well before painting, but nothing shocking
Glad to hear you're satisfied with the quality.
I've attached a video and some photos to give you a better idea of what I mean.
In the video, you can clearly see the difference in thickness, sturdiness, and the quality of the lower layer where the bumpers are mounted.
In the remaining photos, you can see that the rear bumper doesn’t fit properly. Did you have the same issue? If so, how did you solve it?
I spent an entire day working on the rear, and after realizing that everything was getting stuck, I ended up reinstalling the original parts.
