DGM60i wroteYeah but as you know the front emblem is so small you can’t notice the little amount remaining. Thanks dude!! So he just blacked out just the M and not the chrome on the stripes. I’m looking to see if I can find an already black emblem to swap for a clean look.
When I bought my black emblems for the rear badging I asked them about the front. At the time (November 25) they had no plans to do any front emblems.
Let us know if you find a replacement.
X5Mnwi wroteWow! That is one good looking X5!!!Here’s a link to a video my PPF guy did. You can see the M in black wrap on front grill.
alextclam wroteThanks! Took about a week and half from shipping it to them and return ship to me. Not terrible.Nice! How long did that entire process take?
DGM60i wroteHow much did IND charge? Thanks! Took about a week and half from shipping it to them and return ship to me. Not terrible.

DGM60i wrotehow hard was it to remove the badge? Ive heard its a PITA. But haven't even looked or attempted first hand.Sent my front grill badge to IND to get painted Gloss Black. Came out really good. There are no other options but to get your original emblem painted. Sharing cause it’ll save you from the headache I went through trying to find an alternative.
rcsummers wroteVery easy. Just an emblem stuck on with double sided tape. I heated it up and used a plastic pry tool to lift it up enough to get my finder behind it to separate it from the placement on the grill. Took me 2 minhow hard was it to remove the badge? So, when you say you heated it up and pried it up, are you talking about the whole rectangular badge housing as a whole and not just the M? Mine didn’t look like a separate piece that could come off (2026 model) the grill. Maybe my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be!
This sounds like a reasonable process through IND. I have their black roundels installed and lover them. A bit pricey but their workmanship seems great. So, willing to give them a try on this too.
Tommy_Boy wroteYou just take off the “M” badge. Nothing else. Not to ask a dumb question but here goes….

Maybe they could do a group buy??? Lol
GladiatorOwner wroteDon’t think they can source that size emblem as its included with the grill part#.IND should just sell that badge blacked out like they do other roundels- when they eliminate the chrome lines/surrounding…

GladiatorOwner wroteGo for it!Yeah I know, but its an angle they could take for another product to sell…. There is a market for it so …. I should call Ryan/IND and get’em on it

alextclam wroteThose will be super small. I don’t recommend.I’m curious if these would fit. Even if they were a a bit smaller, it wouldn’t be that noticeable.
