I have M sport pro package on my car, so my grille is black which makes the chrome M badge stands out even more.

Before I do anything stupid trying to yank off the badge myself and possibly causing damage to my car, I just wanna know if it's possible to remove the badge on the front like how you remove one on the rear side.

I'm sure they will eventually have an OEM black painted product and have instructions to properly remove/install the badge. Great customer service to boot.I actually found someone selling blacked out M badges in different sizes on Etsy.

I suppose with only one to paint if something goes wrong they can’t just discard it in the quality inspection.I have an M60i on order and will be looking to replace that badge as well. If it’s anything like the pre-lci X5M, it is held by double sided tape. The route I was going to take is measure it in mm and see if there are any for sale of that size and go from there.

BGM40i wroteWhen I had my car PPF’d I had them wrap the gill M in black vinyl. So far it’s holding up with no issue and looks so much better than the chrome. I did replace the rear badging with IND replacement badges.Has anyone successfully blacked out the front emblem ?
