That's how I did it. Kept telling myself I can't put my family through that. Took a while but I finally quit, almost 30 years ago.

Cigarettes :barf:
I was driving and the radio said the price of cigarettes was going up to $2.50 a pack. I picked a half pack off the dash and said, "There's no way I'm paying $2.50 for you. You're not worth it." and I threw them out the window. Since that day I have smoked less than 10 and zero in the last 40 or more years so I wasn't quite cold turkey but damn close.

Sedan_Clan's user avatarSedan_Clan - we have a litterbug. Fine him!!!

Kidding Buug, that's awesome and I'm sure it takes a lot of willpower. I've personally just chosen not to try a cigarette because I didn't want to really enjoy it and get hooked lol.

But I do smoke cigars in the summer, probably about 20 cigars a year or so. I quit every October or so whenever it gets colder than is enjoyable to sit outside at night and then start back up around May. I've never found it hard yet to quit in October but the moment that happens I might stay clean for a full year or so to do a reset.

I was out this morning stocking up on a few essentials before the storm hits this evening and saw this. The spot under his right side doesn't have a space in front of it, there's a tree there, so he's already protected on his front and his right so why did he feel the need to take half the space on his left???

I'm actually going to take a guess that it is an employee's car, and was parked like that to block the place where they intend to pile the snow when they plow.....

It sure beats him having that trailer hitch sticking out into the aisle just waiting to jump out and grab someone's frontend! I really hate those long trucks with their hitches sticking out a foot!

^^^ This! I was thinking of that just yesterday!

First off, the bimbo parks his big-ass crew cab with long bed in a
parking spot meant for regular or small cars. If that’s not bad enough,
the dipshit has 12” of draw bar sticking out, just waiting to open up the
side of your car like a tuna can. The worst of these brain-dead toads
don’t even pull into the slot fully! 🤔

I’m now thinking of leaving a note on their rig stating I would pay for
their vasectomy.

his mirrors are folded in, there is no 12" draw bar sticking out, it's late at night and the parking lot is wide open. Know what you are talking about.

We're not all "bimbo", "dipshit", "brain-dead toads". I happen to drive a Sierra 2500hd, crew cab, 8' box truck with a draw bar/step sticking out past the bumper. To make matters even worse, I have a couple of rather large off-road lights mounted on the front bumper which lengthen it another few inches. I call it the "Office". I always park at the far end of the lot where I use two spaces simply because the only time there are spaces long enough for me they are designated for buses or semi trucks. I use only two spaces, (end to end), never four spaces (2x2 configuration) as I've seen many "bimbo", "dipshit", "brain-dead toads" use. The only trucks I give a pass to the 2x2 configuration are commercial trucks and dually pick-ups, again because there is no other option. They do have to be at the far end of the lot though.

Please disregard the dirt and rusty step. It hasn't been warm enough to wash the "Office" or repaint the step yet this spring.

Back when I had my long-wheelbase Sprinter van I had the same problem. Like you, I always tried to park way out at the far end of the lot.
