My list would be very long if I actually were subjected to top 40 in recent decades, but thankfully it has become easier and easier to avoid as music technology has evolved.

Also... almost any rap song out of Atlanta since about 2020. There are outliers for sure but in general the crop of 2010s "mumble rappers" saw a steep quality decline post-pandemic. Waiting years for Young Thug to come out of prison only for him to drop 'Ninja...' like send him back we didn't need that mid song with a minute of the hard R getting spammed at the end of the track.
