This can help, but only if you don’t use the Auto Hold…release the brake and let the vehicle start to roll forward on its own before you touch the accelerator. With ASS, I think it’s the release of the brake that tells the computer to restart the engine, and once that’s on, without Auto Hold enabled, it will start to move.

Not sure with the PHEV or newer mild hybrids, but it seems like a little creep is programmed in when you don’t have Auto Hold enabled. I regularly use Auto Hold, and it starts smoothly with the EV motor, even if you’re in Sport mode’s slight delay.

Updating my old thread. Great news is we are at 20k+ miles and m60i has been great! Other than one software update that bricked the car in the driveway requiring a weekend tow to the dealer, it has been an excellent vehicle.

However, gas pedal issue remains. I've learned that the slightest pressure on the pedal has the vehicle settle in at 40 MPH. Thus, to go slower you have to be on and off gas pedal. Have had several other brands/model's of vehicles and never had this issue before.

Are you using “Auto-Hold” feature?
Also are you original owner ?

Anyone else feel like it’s kind of slow for a 500+hp car?

Have you brought this issue up to your dealer? It doesn’t sound normal to me, (but having a 40i, I only aspire to an M60i.😊)

Are you kidding? Some reviewers have had the 0-60 time down to as low as 3.6 seconds, and with 750nm of torque plus Sprint mode for a near 2.5 tonne car it seems incredibly quick to me - in fact it’s far more performance that you ever need on public roads!

Yes and that is magazine testing with an off idle start which is not at all optimal for the best 0-60 time where brake boosting is key.
I have seen several M60i Draggy results from unprepped street launches in the 3.3 second range which is crazy fast for a 5,400 SUV. the hybrid electric motor bump out of the hole is very strong on the LCI S68 TTV8 as any owner of one well knows.
There are guys driving mini vans who would discolor their boxer shorts if they ripped off a low 3 second 0-60 romp. LOL

How can you say it’s not related to the 523 HP? Of course it is.
523 is BMW's sig underrated figure as they allways seem to do. The S68 with M60i calibration is good for 600HP at the crankshaft. The B58 is around 450 actual FWHP.

I guess it’s all relative to what you’re used to.

What vehicle did you come from? Could be just an adjustment getting used to the change?

I do not feel the same for the m60 and I have a JB 4 installed. Although, I came from a tuned G80.

That M60i with a JB4 at work has got to be a hoot to drive.
Map 2 (93 octane) puts 600 to the wheels which is pushin 750 at the engine and way more on torque. Badass.
Did you use a JB4 on the G80?

This thing is a beast! Family SUV, comfortable as can be and then just a complete beast when you have everything on and want it to be. Really hoping to come up against a X5M to see how much of a difference there is now.
JB4 Map 2
Eventuri Intake
Secondary downpipes and resonator removed.

Yes, had the 6MT G80 with JB4, man I miss that car and will get one again some time down the road.

That sounds really great Man and sounds like you are enjoying your M60i after coming out of your M3
I am currently thinking of a G82 in the very near future as I refuse to play the games needed to aquire another 911 including the absurd pricing.
