This is one of the reasons I’m sitting on the fence deciding if to go with an aftermarket exhaust or not.
Getting a new bumper. Which seemed like a perfect opportunity to swap to F95 bumper which would open up the possibilities.

We use our tow hitch alot....and I couldn't see a way of notching the F95 diffuser where it would look good with the stock hitch.

So I nixed the F95 bumper idea and here we are, limited to bumper openings as such.

The idea crossed my mind. However, the F95’s bumper has different exhaust tips placement which would need to be factored in into the exhaust design

So question is if Valvetronic’s muffler will allow fitment with both bumper models (G05, F95)?

I reached out to them and asked Dahler
#1 If we had to put the tips on ?
#2 Would it effect it?

Do you think the exhaust will work without putting the tips on and not cutting the bumper? I think that is going to be my plan with the Valvetronics.

According to the installer I spoke with, the dÄhler exhaust requires their tips to be installed

Wonder what you’ll hear back - please, do share

So who’s gonna be the Guinea pig here?
If Valvetronic were looking for a mule / test vehicle for the European version (our cars have the dreaded OPF component in the exhaust track), I’ll be glad to volunteer

I was semi- disappointed with the lack of attention of the details on my inquiry re: their videos, covers not installed, what fits or will not fit with the covers on, etc. This was the 1 sentence response I was given

*No sir this is a bolt on system that goes in where the factory one is!*

Also, there is a blurb in the G07 forum....something akin to the exhaust being difficult to install. But it didn't go into details on Why

Interested in this exhaust. Subscribed.

If they ship to the UK, I’ll definitely have one

Have 2025 X6 M60 on order.

Also very interested.

From what I understand, Dahler exhaust requires bending rear bracing arms. Not a fan of this option if that’s the case. My interest in Valvetronic exhaust is therefore much higher.

The installer I spoke to in Poland uses washers, thus eliminating the need to bend anything or widen the bolt holes

That’s what she said 😆

"No need to bend anything" ... does it apply to Dahler exhaust, matowi's user avatarmatowi ?

Yes, they put some metal washers to create additional space for the greater diameter of dAhler’s piping. Bending the braces didn’t seem very professional to them

+1 M50 (if it fits through the factory bezel covers - deal killer for me if it does not)

Probably a stupid question but will the valves work as they currently do at cold start?
01-22-2025
I have asked the question about the bezels and about the flaps remaining in the last used position. Waiting to hear back. Will update the list shortly.

They got back to me after on a secondary response.
This is their response re: the exhaust covers

" I talked with our tech here as well and he confirmed that the rear trim pieces do indeed fit back up on the car after install!"

Interested for my M50i depending on how big the savings is for the group buy.

Can confirm that you can run the exhaust with the stock bezels in place, but will not be able to use the tips they provide. Additionally, whatever position you leave the valves in when you turn the car off will be the position they are in whe you start the car next.
