G30M wroteOk, a bit strange and unusual I think. Causing a collision and being solely to blame usualy means also some penalty points on the license. In the stewards report they explained. Iirc is because Oscar was not disadvantaged.

M5Rick wroteFranz Hermann was here at Spa-Francorchamps .This time to test an Aston GT3 (!)There should have been a red flag because of a whole front wing and debris on the track, then followed by a 2 lap shootout with a rolling start to beef up the finish than the snowflake follow the SC to the finish.

This wasn't brake and tyre warming because RUS knew it very well the race would end behind the safety car .
It took the FIA 5 hours after the race, to confirm the official race winner (!)
Can't stand the Russell boy anymore (!)
Rono63 wroteThe results continue to confirm what we know. Both Mclaren drivers cannot outperform the car. When the car is absolutely dominant (class of 1) they do well (most of the time), but when it is anything less than absolutely dominant, even though it's still the fastest (as it was leading up to quali), they simply don't have the ability to raise the performance level of the car. Max does that more than anyone else in history along with Senna, Schumacher, and maybe Fangio. MB also did a pretty good job of driving well this weekend, but their car is nowhere near the challenge the RB is.Not me but I have to say the MB were pretty impressive.
The McLarens didn’t have the pace to challenge them and Kimi was catching Max before the SC.

///M Power-Belgium wroteMAX is still on 11 P points going into Austria but the stewards aren't that thick, they know RUS is desperate to overtake MAX in the drivers points standings any which way and RB have made them aware of any more tricks that may be used even after two P points are taken away after Austria he'll still be at risk on nine until the next P points 'let off'.It was a dirty provocation to give MAX a penalty and a race ban ...

I'm still waiting for answers from GP (and Horner) as to why that call was made to MAX? If it wouldn't have been made then his P points would then be reduced to six after Austria!
I want GP to come on publicly and start explaining exactly instead of fluffing it away with the wave of a hand just saying 'we made a mistake'...
G30M wroteAnybody body know how to catch this in the stateswell no F1 this weekend but I'm tuning in to 24 hrs of Nurburgring!
unfortunately you never quite know how the BOP is affecting certain cars. all i know is the BOP is very kind to Porsche and the Ferrari 296 might not have had much BOP applied (well i'm not sure this about this year, previous years they didn't BOP it very much).
