If it is just the noise try bedding them.
mikegot5 wroteFrom this picture we cannot tell pad wear. Can you post a picture like this, where we can see the pad thickness?I mean, he told me that I need to change all four brakes and rotors

you have blue M brake package, quick search for genuien OEM part price is like this
Front rotor: 395x36, ~$305 each
Front pads: $281 per set include both sides
Rear rotor: 370x24, ~$188 each
Rear pads: $172 per set include both sides
Rest is labor and misc items.
Zimmerman is an bmw OE supplier, so quality should be good. Since you are already looking at FCP, why give them a call on Monday and see what they recommend.
mikegot5 wrote900 is just an estimate. It can quickly go to 0. You probably have a week or two.A neighbor took a look, He showed me the rotor and explained A few few things I didn’t know.. but I did have a notification go on that. I have 900 miles left on the rear break. He looked at all four and said I need to change the brakes on the rotors
My son’s car said 1800 and within a week was at 300. When I replaced them they were uneven worn. First time I’ve ever seen that.
Most people, including DIYer (myself included), I go with OE/OEM parts only because I want to do it once and not need to revisit. It is my time and down time for the car at this stage of my life. I used to do exactly what you do, try different hardware (brake pad, caliber, damper, tires ...). Most of time, things worked out just fine. It was fun too.
Absolute shite… waiting for the day I can replace them…
Westborough X5 wroteI have had good experience with coated rotors from centric (higher end ones), raybestos (really liked them), zimmerman (big German OEM supplier but more $), and I think Brembo. you really cannot go wrong with a "premium coated rotor" from rock auto from a reputable brand. what I would avoid is any of those brands related to "performance" like powerslot, powerstop, etc.Jumping in on the thread here as I'm shopping for front brakes as well on a 2019 X5 40i. I usually go with whatever FCP recommends for OE but I was pretty surprised by the price tag when I checked yesterday. I looked at RockAuto under the "premium" selections and there was a $200 difference between FCP OE and premium RockAuto. Came to Bimmerpost to get some intel from the field on experience.
FWIW one of the most important things to do right after a brake job is to bed the pads and rotors properly with multiple (10 or more) medium/hard stops from 50ish to 10mph without coming to a complete stop and then driving easy for 10 mins or so to cool them off. this ensures you properly mate the entire pad with the rotor surface and deposit even pad material onto the rotor which is essential for proper brake function. this will ensure a long, trouble free brake replacement.

Some rotors got hit hard with the Tariffs. I know this personally.
I recommend SHW, Brembo, or Zimmermann rotors. The OEM rotors have unattractive hats and tend to look even worse as they age. Another poster already mentioned this above, and honestly, that alone is reason enough to swap them out.
