Thanks, yes, I believe that was Scott that posted... I'm confused a bit as to why Bmw would not pull the option from the configurator if not available. On the other side of things, they did not list the M adaptive pro option again and from what I understand it was available to order up until the other day if you added the 2VW code. I guess I'm just not used to the world of bmw ordering yet..lol.. Trying to get up to speed thou!. So is it definite that 2VW can't be ordered at this time? Here is the link you mentioned:

As always thanks
Quite common for manufactures to not change their configurators under those circumstances. You have to keep in mind that the Configurator is a marketing tool and not an ordering tool.

That link doesn't mention Adaptive M Suspension so that is why I was wondering where you saw it. It doesn't really matter as we have seen some other info on it and a number of different options being pulled at this time for various series.

For my situation I’d be going with a very lightly optioned M60i and plan to keep it for at least 180-200K km.
  • Alpine white (May consider SSG)
  • Standard suspension (I’ve already had to replace parts on our X7 with air suspension…never again)
  • Trailer towing package
  • Sports package with red calipers
  • Black interior
  • 742M wheels in black
  • Carbon trim interior
  • 30% ceramic tint
  • PPF on hood
  • Ceramic coated (Feynlab)
  • I like the sports seats but might consider the comfort seats

I like lighter optioned cars when I keep them for a long time. :)

Quick follow up…After test driving the xDrive 40i with MSport I decided I didn’t need the extra power of the M60i. (The 40i is plenty fast for my wife’s daily driver).

In the end we purchased the following and couldn’t be happier. Already 3K km on it. :)
