If it's being manufactured on 11/4, you should have it by the middle of the month at the latest. Ours was a week 42 build (Oct 12-18) and was delivered on the 17th in the Northeast, so the turnaround is super quick.

OP's location is listed as Seattle. Takes 3-4 weeks for shipping them there.

I have an order placed for a Week 45 build and as far as I know it hasn't gone into production yet. Waiting for the dealership call at any moment.

Yep exactly. It’ll first go to a BMW dealership in MS then will need to be shipped to WA.

I would suggest bypassing the dealer and just track it yourself in MyGarage. This will also allow you to get your production date which dealers and Genius generally does not give out.

Keep in mind that Production Begins does not mean that assembly has started. It means that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. Assembly will be on your production date and usually takes about four hours or so. Once you go into 150 (Production Begins) then you can use the "F12" process or BimmerTrack to get your production date.

Congrats to everyone on their new rigs! I joined build week 45 as well. Have a production date of 11/7. I hit code 150 on 10/22.

Curious if any of you all w/ a week 45 production slot have seen your respective status’s change from 150?

You won't see anything until next week unless your order gets pulled out of the week and either pushed back or brought forward.

Thank you Turtle Boy. Thats what I figured.

Thats great to see atruelunatic! I saw a similar thing with some week 44 folks showing their rigs produced a day or two before the date they were quoted. Curious which dealership in Seattle you got your M60i from?

Didn’t get it from Seattle. None of the dealerships here were able to save me 10% off MSRP on a custom build. Worked with Scott @ Insight Auto.

Got it. That is an outstanding deal, Congrats. None of the dealerships here would do that. There are a few who would discount onsite units, but nothing approaching 10%. The best I saw was 5% but the upgrades werent all spec’d w/ all the bells & whistles. Pending weather, you have a good shot of getting your rig by the end of the month..

I hit 153 status today. Called BMW genius, they said will likely be 155 by end of day.

BMW Genius estimates delivery to the dealership 11/6 for me. Probably another 2 weeks to arrive to Seattle though.
