With regards to the Midpipe, I was initially looking to do the same as that was what I did with my G80 and loved the improved sound. However with limited availability of Midpipes for the M60, i decided to take the car to an exhaust shop and have them cut out the resonator and just straight pipe it. Same outcome and significantly less cost as well. I also know a guy who had them install an XPipe but it’s not as deep as mine IMHO.
Tobster3 wroteThanks man. Haven’t really done anything yet but I like the idea that this is clamped on and not welded. I want the ability to revert back to stock if need be without cutting and welding again. I’m 95% certain the Midpipe fits the M60i I just need that one person that’s done it to confirm for me that there are no other modifications to get it done.Hey man, seen a lot of your posts recently. Looks like you’re doing a lot of good mods.

DGM60i wroteHey everyone, hoping someone can help for me confirm if the Dinan Midpipe for the F95 fits on a 2024-2026 X5 M60i? I read somewhere it is a correct fitment but need 100 clairty on it. Are there any other modifications that need to be done to make it work or is it a straight install?
TIA!
viciousmo wroteI read that but I contacted that member directly to see if everything fits correctly but has not responded. I need a 100% confirmation it fits before diving into this mod.
DGM60i wroteI mean, he’s got it working and the mid section looks pretty similar. You could bring it to an exhaust shop for the install in case they have to make slight modifications.I read that but I contacted that member directly to see if everything fits correctly but has not responded. viciousmo wroteI could but I’d like to have the option of reverting back to stock if I want to down the road. I have secondary’s sitting in my basement so I’m going to add those on first to see if I need more from the exhaust.I mean, he’s got it working and the mid section looks pretty similar. I think I’ve mentioned it before but you’ll definitely need at least a valve controller with the secondaries. Have you considered that?
Tobster3 wroteHey bud!! Yes, I already have it on my car.Hey man, me again! lol, looks like we’ve both gone down the same path.

DGM60i wroteSweet, let us know how it goes with the Secondaries. If you’re like me, you’ll be left wanting more.Hey bud!! Yes, I already have it on my car.

DGM60i wroteYes, the day I got them installed I realized it wasn’t enough and cut out the Resonator. That got the desired effect for me but coming from a modified G80, I think I would still like something a little louder but not ready to go that next step until I’m 100% sure. Catted Downpipes are too much for my situation. Axle back maybe, but I need to hear it in person. You have secondaries already?

Im on the fence of resonator delete/x-pipe or secondaries or both.
Side note - I feel like any good exhaust shop should be able to do a resonator delete, and clamp on the replacement pipes for an easy swap back to stock.
rcsummers wroteI for sure will post vids. Just waiting to get a few other mods in to do it all in one shot. It’s also terrible where I live after 2 feet of snow. Not really enjoyable to drive right now hahaWhatever you end up doing please post vids.
