hpatel567 wrotePre-Delivery inspection is absolutely needed. Your dealer must just be backed up since it only takes a few hours. Except if you have the 50e which needs to be fully charged.Mine was delivered to dealership yesterday. Dealer mentioned they need couple days to inspect and detail. Is this required on brand new build directly from factory that was just delivered? What do they have to do for few days?

Here is a video from a dealer of what is done.

hpatel567 wroteare you on the highway? When using DAPP, why is it prompting me to put my hands on steering every several seconds despite paying full attention and eyes on road ahead? Is this expected behavior or am i not using this correctly?
is your seat belt buckled?
hpatel567 wroteSounds normal. There are three modes to the cruise:When using DAPP, why is it prompting me to put my hands on steering every several seconds despite paying full attention and eyes on road ahead? Is this expected behavior or am i not using this correctly?
Cruise mode 1 - adaptive cruise without steering (can also select non-adaptive cruise)
Cruise mode 2 - Assisted Driving, Adaptive cruise with steering and lane control, must be touching the steering wheel.
Cruise mode 3 - Highway Assist/Assisted Driving Plus, hands-free driving up to 85mph on qualifying highways
It seems like you were using Cruise Mode 2.
hpatel567 wroteMine has been sitting at PC for a week. A week from tomorrow and we get her.Anyone with week 10 got their car delivered to dealership yet?
TurtleBoy wroteI think i was on cruise mode 2 and never got assist plus sign on screen because I was not on highway.Sounds normal. There are three modes to the cruise:

I took the car on highway yday and I got assist plus sign and then hands free driving went on for much longer time much until my attention was not ahead. So it appears that on highway I need to wait for assist plus sign for full hands free driving which is cruise mode 3.
One question though, when i am cruise mode 3 aka highway assist plus, does the car also accommodate adapative cruise? Basically will it also adjust speed (+/-) based on set speed limit and also car in front with assit plus hands free driving? In other words, does cruise mode 3 includes all cruise mode 2 features?

Yes mode 3 includes mode 2 features adaptive cruise included.
