All,

Currently shopping for an X5. Missed the $4000 incentive that went away on the 2nd. Now it is a joke at $500.

For those that have watched the Military incentive over time (months or years) is there any consistency or trends for when the incentives would go back up again? End of the month(s), quarter(s), etc?

We are hesitant to buy at this time if there is a remote chance a significant incentive like that "may" come back soon.

Words from the wise are appreciated (new to the BMW shopping world).

Check again. The incentive is $500 if leasing or financing with BMWFS. Pay cash or bring your own financing......it's still $4,000. Best of luck with your shopping adventure. Maybe I'm confused but I partially see what you are talking about. I see dealer sites that still show $4000 BUT BMW NA shows $500 only unless I can't read. I was assuming BMW NI website is the "true" source of info.

Please prove me wrong and be right!! : )

Yes it falls to $500 if you take the low rate financing. One or another....

Ok, I'm confused. I found another link on BMW NA that still states $4000.

Pretty straightforward.......$4k if you pay cash or bring your own financing. $500 if leasing or financing with BMWFS.
The military incentive used to be good for one year but now it's renewed/re-stated monthly.

I get it now, the confusion was simply caused by the fact that I followed the same menu clicks on the BMW NA website and the "$4000" had turned into the $500 "version". That led me to believe the Military incentive as a whole had changed.

Thanks everyone!

My Dad actually....and thanks!

p.s. I've been searching for in-state / in-stock cars for days now. Found the exact build and my first email to the dealer asking for a window sticker came back with a surprise - 10% off msrp without even asking. One BS protection package fee but everything else totally legit. sDrive40i, ~81K msrp build. Nothing fancy.

I got it from my dad too, he was a tail gunner in Korea. My grandfather served under Patton in WWII, wounded three times per his DD-214 discharge.

I got the $4k military, $1000 I guess it's called loyalty and $1000 financing with BMW but the rate was 7.44%. I just paid the loan down immediately to next to nothing as they want you to keep the loan no matter the balance for a couple months. I think the interest will be less than $100 total. I thought that was a pretty good trade off to get the $1000 incentive. So in total I got $6k off with those 3 and 9.5% off MSRP on an ordered X5. This was on Feb 7.

Edit: I stand corrected. I got the $4k military and a $1000 for loyalty. They added another $1000 to the rebate but then added that $1000 to the sell price. So I actually got $5k total in incentives not $6k.

Yes, the military incentive is $4k when you pay cash, bring outside financing or use a non-promotional BMWFS rate.
