He test drove one and he loved the engineering so he bought one. He praised that car while he owned it. It's too bad Borgward had such financial difficulties. They really were very strong on the innovation side. I forgot that I limited it to two decades because designed changed do wildly year-to-year in the 50s and 60s.Your hints tipped it. I will stay in my lane, so to speak, going forward.

Just to complete the conversation on the car in question, it is indeed the Citroen XM, introduced in 1989 to replace the Citroen CX as the company's flagship model.
