Current Wheel/Tire protection costs?

Should be picking up my M60i in the next few weeks. I'm curious what people are paying for wheel and tire protection with cosmetic protection through BMW.

Has anyone gone elsewhere other than BMW for this? If so, where have you gone and how has it worked out?

Wheel/Tire protection must be purchased at delivery. After you drive off the lot it's too late. And it's a NEGOTIABLE item. In November when I took delivery of my 540i (20" 938M wheels) I declined the coverage and the finance mgr offered it to me @ +/- $1250 or so which is a substantial discount off the list price. I still declined but the point is you can buy it for far less than list price. Keep in mind that the price might fluctuate depending on which specific wheel your car has. I'd offer about 40% of list price and stick to my guns. Best of luck.
Edit: Also keep in mind that curb rash on a wheel can be repaired for around $150 and most providers are mobile so they'll come to you. And I have no experience or knowledge of 3rd party providers but be cautious and read the fine print.
