Hi all

Just picked up a 2022 X5.

The car is fully prepped for ACC as I can purchase it as an upgrade through connected drive.

But at £750 it seems a bit heavy to me. Is there anyway to do it yourself through buying an FSC code or whatever? Cheers

I don’t think it’s possible to code this in, I’d just pay the price.. Ask TurtleBoy's user avatarTurtleBoy

That is correct. You need to buy the subscription where available to get it.

You could possibly code this by removing 5AS code (standard cruise control) from the FA (Vehicle Order) list and adding 5DF (ACC with standard stop and go) NOT Driver Assistance Professional which is 5AU that requires additional hardware :( and then VO coding the relevant ECUs.

Some other codes may also need to be removed from the FA like S9QY and S6P1 if listed. They may inhibit ACC working properly.

However an FSC code for the KAFAS (camera) ECU may still need to be required after coding and is only available from BMW themselves

Good Luck
