I’ve restarted the iDrive, deleted the Alexa app then reinstalled, deleted the skill then re-linked, deleted the MyBMW app then reinstalled. I’ve enabled Alexa on the MyBMW app and also third party providers. I’ve enabled full battery usage for Alexa and MyBMW apps on my phone and even set a routine on my phone to always open Alexa and MyBMW app when driving. I’ve Googled this to death but can’t seem to resolve this issue. I don’t use Android Auto or CarPlay and have a Samsung S25 phone. I’ve even tried it when I’ve forgotten my phone and the same thing happens….3 attempts!
This wouldn’t necessarily be a major problem except for the fact that I use Alexa to open my garage door because something in the car is interfering with the remote control. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
