I broke off the little plug inside my fuel door that keeps the door closed. As far as I know, I can't replace it alone and I need to replace the entire fuel pocket, or fuel pot. I was curious if anyone has done this before and if it is something I can tackle on my own vs taking it to the shop. I watched some videos of other models, but I can't find an example for a 2023 X5. I know some models have cord that runs to the interior for an emergency release/open feature, but I don't think the 2023 X5 has this, but I'm not certain and would love to confirm before I pull out the pocket. Any advice is appreciated.
