I just reached out to a shop to get pricing on MSS springs + installation and they told me that MSS no longer exists. Is this accurate?

-- UPDATE --

Confirmed MSS Automotive has ceased operations.

Regardless, I’ll just source it from somewhere else. The real question is, I’m due for new tires soon (5/32 tread remaining) and wanted to know if the following approach is overall better for the long run.

Install MSS kit and get alignment immediately post install.

Drive the remaining life of current tires until it hits 4/32.

Replace tires and do another alignment.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey, I had MSS installed about a year ago, had not heard that they were no longer in business. I love the look and they handle just a little firmer than stock which I am good with.

If you’re not running too much miles, I’d do the following:
1) Install Springs.
2) Wait 2-3 weeks and at least 500 miles before alignment.
3) change tires

If you’re doing a lot of miles, it would be better to change the tires before alignment.

Pic of my car (before my new wheels) lowered on MSS with 15/20 spacers. Which I need to sell.

Why do these pictures look no different. They look lowered but they look like the same picture. Do you have a before picture before the kit was put on? and why do you not like the spacers?

They look the same because they are the same lol. Both pics are of the lowered car, here is a before pic, don’t have many.

I don’t need spacers now, because the wheels I’ve purchased are wider than the original OEM wheels including the spacers. Latest pic also included.

Thanks for the response and pics. Confirmed with Ben at RGSport that MSS ceased production and is no longer in business.

Seems H&R and AST are the only options. Will need to evaluate and explore some more.

Your car looks great btw. Are those Vossen HF-5s?
