I really don't like the new BMW M3 or the 3 Series, and I think BMW screwed the pooch with the Neue Klasse design, it looks nothing like it should. With the help of AI, I have made my vision of the 2027 BMW Neue Klasse 3.0 CSL, inspired by the 1973 CSL. First two are more modern inspired and the third is more retro inspired. AI fixing my daily BMW issues.

These designs look actually much better than BMW's own 2027 designs! Not sure if the intake grills should be/are functional, but these concepts certainly stamp "the BMW" back on the new 2027 OEM models that barely look BMW from the front.

I have a feeling that if BMW engineers would see this...they would revise their design... Too late for this model series....

I think AI is good as a single source of information but like with everything its good to check sources and get many different perspectives before making your own decision. I've seen quite a bit of incorrect information from AI

I was inspired by your re-design and ws playing around with Gemini. With your permission, I will post the last one with the spoilers in the main BMW thread for debate vs the OEM look. Let me know by tomorrow....

The biggest concern I would have is over reliance on AI to solve newer problems and folks using those solutions without any ingenuity or fix attempts on their own, basically fewer and fewer lessons learned are added over time. AI is only as good as what it is trained on. So yea it would be great to pull together all of bimmerposts deep current knowledge but I worry it would discourage, as new vehicles are introduced and new topics come up, building that same wealth of knowledge at the pace and depth that it happens now.

With AI still making a lot of mistakes, over-reliance can and will lead to costly mistakes...from which people hopefully learn.

Spot on regarding the shift toward "first-principles" DIY; I’ve found that Gemini AI is particularly potent when you leverage direct connectivity to the vehicle’s data for more than just reading codes.

while I have high hopes for AI to solve my automotive problems in the near future, I'm concerned that AI will make other things worse....

for example, what if AI can tell me if I need to leave my wife for another woman?(that other woman being my soulmate because AI has scoured 99% of available women on the planet and determined that she was my true soulmate?)

I think this a conversation that you need to have with your wife and not a forum.

I use ai mainly gemini to diagnose error codes and to fix them and its doing a really good job.
Always doubt it and double check the resources it provides.
The good thing is that many time the source of knowledge is this forum ;)
